The best part about pole vault is that it can never be mastered; you can always go higher, push further, and challenge your limits. This mindset drives me in everything I do from academics, athletics, or personal growth. It is my dream off the track to reach fluency in Mandarin and advocate for environmental justice/sustainability. Every day, this event teaches me that every setback- every missed attempt or knocked bar- is just a stepping stone towards success. Persistence and determination are the keys to achieving your dreams.
