Max played in all 13 games, starting 12 contests. He had 56 receptions for 669 yards and a touchdown. In MVFC games, Max had a team-leading 41 receptions for 444 yards and a touchdown. Caught a career-high 10 passes against Indiana State and had 81 yards receiving against the Sycamores. Later in the season he had a career-best 134 yards on six grabs at South Dakot and hauled in a 66-yard touchdown pass in the second half against the Coyotes. In the game against Villanova, he caught nine passes for 105yards and had seven catches for 51 yards atUNI. During the game against Ohio State, Max caught three passes for 53 yards, including an impressive 36-yard grab. His longest catch was against OSU during the regular-season.
